Job Description

The role will collaborate closely with the product and business development teams and will be responsible for identifying and preparing information on the competitive environment, market, and customer requirements to aid in the development of the marketing, positioning, and communication strategy, as well as related collaterals.
 
Responsibilities

  • Be the key point of contact between marketing, product teams, and business development.
  • Collaborate with product teams and internal stakeholders to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas.
  • Develop a marketing plan for ADL products in conjunction with the marketing team, including key campaigns and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Create customer-facing content, presentations, videos, webinars, and product assets
  • Market intelligence—be the expert on our customers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support our products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the team on required changes.
  • Plan the launches of new products and releases of existing product updates and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Work closely with the business development team to develop internal tools and external collateral in line with their requirements

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally in the technology or telecommunications industry
  • Degree or equivalent professional qualifications in marketing or a similar field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Sound knowledge of existing and emerging technologies
  • Experience with developing and creating product assets including presentations, videos, webinars, whitepapers, brochures, etc.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken is mandatory
  • Excellent at storytelling, communication, and content writing
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!
  • A self-starter that knows why and how to prioritize tasks.
