Role purpose:

Vodafone Business Ventures is the social enterprise arm of Vodafone Business. We combine Vodafone’s platforms and partnerships in cloud, connectivity and IOT with social purpose to bring innovative, verticalized solutions to customers in Vodafone’s global footprint. 

Our Connected Education solution brings digital learning to the classroom, wherever the classroom is based across the globe. We combine connectivity, devices, and cloud productivity tools into a ready-made digital classroom environment ready for both students and teachers to use.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who will enhance the Connected Education portfolio. The Product Manager would take end-to-end responsibility to develop and launch new propositions in Campus wifi, Digital Education Content engine and Digital security in Vodafone footprint markets. 

Job Responsibility

What you'll be doing:

• Identify market opportunities, define product scope, build business case and roadmap to develop commercial, scalable propositions in Unified Communications and Connectivity (UC&C), Cloud and Security for the Education sector
• Understand and define high-level solution design in sprints and integration of local components into global architecture
• Engage with Engineering and DevOps teams within Vodafone and 3rd party suppliers to ensure development within budget and timelines
• Engage with relevant stakeholders to onboard in Group and OpCo roadmaps 
• Take ownership for the technical delivery to the local markets
• Engage with early customers to lead and supervise proof of concepts and pilots 

What you will need:

• Can abstract specific customer problems into product requirements - create Epics and Stories, assure development teams understand purpose and objective; prioritise stories in backlog per the business’ need
• Strong communication and experienced working with multiple stakeholders such as Engineering, Technology Finance, Marketing and VPC
• Familiarity with product portfolios of vendors such as Cisco, Juniper Networks and Security vendors such as Zscaler, Trendmicro etc
• Entrepreneurial minded, dynamic mindset, comfortable with working with ambiguity 
• Understanding of Unified Communications & Connectivity, Cloud & Security portfolios
• Understanding of Digital IT needs in the Education sector would be preferable
