ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Multi-Channel Product Manager you will be working across the JD Group digital channels. A cross-functional role, focusing on the optimisation of current user journeys as well as the introduction of new features and innovations.

 

To achieve this you will work collaboratively with our teams and fascia’s to help support product creation from concept to go live across mobile, desktop, app and in store  Working with our partners to continuously evolve our proposition.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will work closely with the conversion & UX team, developers, projects team, suppliers and testers to help the business implement our strategy and further enhance our market leading digital multichannel offering.
  • Be the go to person for your product area. Constantly evaluating the customer journey and identifying the opportunities to improve.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers and be focused on their needs and behaviours, with quality and user experience at the heart of everything you do.
  • Build requirements and acceptance criteria for new features and functionality, working closely with developers, UX designers and stakeholders to ensure our customers have a frictionless experience from online and into our stores.
  • Translate user needs into compelling requirements to define user flows and interactions, working collaboratively with developers and UX designers to build the product.
  • Identifying areas of improvement that will contribute to increased sales and improved customer experience, managing these from concept to go live and beyond.
  • Managing products end to end; including working closely with conversion & UX teams, developing wireframes, QA, UAT and post launch reviews and ongoing optimisation.
  • Create clear prioritisation among features, collaborating with other cross-functional teams to manage sprints and refine the backlog.

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE NEEDED

  • Strong stakeholder management skills to influence across multiple teams.
  • Good understanding of online customer behaviour.
  • Understanding of and passion for product usability, UX and customer journey.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial understanding, attention to detail and creative problem solving ideas.
  • Previous experience working in an eCommerce role is preferred but not required.
