Job Description

With a community of 50 product owners and designers (and growing!), we are looking for a great product person to join our team. Want to be a part of the team responsible for the experience of our 25 million active customers here at ASOS? Product and technology are at the heart of everything we do at ASOS and as a Product Owner you will play a critical end-to-end role in serving our twenty something fashion loving customers, by delivering on customer outcomes and business goals.

If you are a Product Manager who truly believes in putting the customer first, is passionate about speaking to customers, Ã¢â‚¬Ëœtest and learn’ and can research and communicate new opportunities that our industry offers, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll have access to community events, knowledge shares and meet-ups, all to support you in your ASOS journey and ensure you can be the very best version of yourself.

You will

  • Work closely with people across the company to set and drive the vision for your specific product area, both short and long term.

  • Translate the vision into an ongoing product strategy and key goals to implement and measure performance against.

  • Continuously learn early and often from customers about their desired outcomes and proactively eek opportunities to address these outcomes.

  • Work in a data informed way, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative research to assess the value of features

  • Drive a ‘test and learn’ approach to develop products and features, delivering customer value incrementally whilst testing risky assumptions to understand what not to design and build.

  • Regularly update stakeholders and teams about the performance of your product area Ã¢â‚¬â€œÃ¢â‚¬Â¯against key metrics or hypotheses Ã¢â‚¬â€œ and use this as a backdrop to any product recommendations or decisions.

  • Collaborate continuously with relevant engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, from the product strategy to the detail of a user story to implement.

  • Engage with other product managers and designers at ASOS to achieve results but also to learn from each other.

You have

  • A knack for facilitating product portfolio and roadmap planning, but also translating these into the required level of detail for people to implement.

  • The ability to drive both delivery and discovery processes.

  • A curious mind that enables you to self-learn about new customer problem areas or opportunities.

  • A strong belief in the role and value of data, and are not afraid to test and learn, using these feedback loops to continuously improve the product.

  • Experience with Agile ways of working and collaborating with cross-functional development teams.

  • The superpower that enables you to combine active listening with being inquisitive with people across engineering, customer care, retail, marketing, and finance.

  • A skill of taking people on journey as we instil a product mindset across ASOS.

What's in it for you:

  • A truly unique and agile working environment where you’ll be surrounded by a diverse range of passionate experts, with two common interests: technology & innovation

  • Generous salary, bonus and pension matching

  • Life insurance, free private medical care, cycle to work scheme + more

  • A bespoke flexible benefits scheme catered to you

  • Best in class Learning & Development schemes and career development programmes

  • 25 days holiday + never work on your birthday again!

  • Free modern onsite gym, plus personal training and wellness rooms

  • Tech Develops days– one day per month dedicated to developing yourself and developing others within Tech

  • Tech Presents days- breakfast mornings to collaborate and share your work with other teams

  • A dynamic social environment, from company-wide sports days, charity days, ‘Give A Week Away’ opportunities to visit our charity partners in India, company-wide celebrations across Christmas and Summer to name just a few

  • Huge staff discounts and sample sales

  • Plus much more…
