Job Summary:

About The Role

We are looking for a Product Manager, who will oversee a suite of internally developed Data Quality products that give users the ability to certify the data by managing DQ monitoring checks across the diverse portfolio of data products. You'll provide intake, review, and roadmaps for Data Quality tools and services, surface updates to the stakeholders and identify opportunities for the user base growth. You will be partnering with peer data product managers, architects, data governance and engineering teams to define, standardize and promote best practices and available offerings to make a significant positive impact to the entire D.A.T.A. organization. You should be familiar with modern data architectures, data visualization, and Agile practices. You also must be an analytical, articulate, and business-minded, capable of maneuvering roadblocks, executing tactically and communicating effectively to stakeholders at peer levels throughout the course of a product lifecycle.

Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) is Disney’s global, multiplatform media, product, technology, and distribution organization for world-class content. DMED is comprised of Disney’s international media and direct-to-consumer businesses globally, including all Disney networks outside of the US, as well as streaming services ESPN+, Disney+, Hulu, and forthcoming Star+. The Disney Streaming D.A.T.A. organization focuses on providing innovative data solutions supporting DMED business stakeholders with comprehensive, timely, and reliable data and the means to access, activate and analyze all of Disney’s consumer data in a secure and compliant way.

Responsibilities:

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of UI, API and data product management experience
  • Familiarity with QA and testing practices
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a sophisticated, always-changing environment with competing priorities
  • Experience with Agile frameworks and practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

  • QA, software testing or data governance background is a big plus
  • Data visualization experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
