As the Stock Plan Services (SPS) Product Manager, you are a leader who works across business units to drive key initiatives through strategy, planning, and execution. You are accountable for establishing initiative objectives, a plan for successful execution, and for demonstrating those objectives were achieved. You provide a central connection point for large complex initiatives by communicating with business partners and vendors, resolving impediments, helping manage risk, and driving improvement through successful execution. In an agile format and structure, you will partner with other leaders to make strategic decisions, align roadmaps, define product requirements, set the vision, and bring teams together to execute on specific results. You will ensure alignment on the “what” and “when” of the work performed by teams through ongoing planning and prioritization, that enables teams to work iteratively, innovate when appropriate, celebrate successes, and learn from failures.

The Third-Party Tax offering provides critical functionality between plan sponsors and their tax providers, allowing them to tailor withholding based on participants’ mobility in jurisdictions throughout the world. Our goal is to enhance the existing capabilities by creating new standards, developing a better set of tools to provide best-in-class value to our plan sponsors.

You will coordinate across the organization to accomplish this through new data exchanges, improved PSW, NetBenefits, and reporting experiences, and increased support for our service teams. You will set both the strategic and tactical direction for the features, support prospect conversations in the sales funnel, and represent SPS in client-facing and industry events.

You will work in partnership with Product and Technology leadership and team members. By role modeling and promoting agile and Fidelity leadership principles, you will promote and sustain an innovative agile environment.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

5+ years of related product management experience, systems development, product development, and/or product management

Vendor relationship management

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Financial services experience preferred

Agile experience preferred

The Value You Deliver

Defining, refining, and representing the initiative vision to team members and business partners to empower and rally support

Collaborating with the Sponsor and other domain leads to develop an overall initiative roadmap. Track execution and adjust roadmap as needed during execution

Determine engagement across Product support groups like compliance, legal, marketing, risk, security

Anticipating, discovering, and prioritizing client / partner needs to serve as the voice of the clients and guide execution of the initiative

Connect varying parties with independent strategies and roadmaps but who are aligned to the initiative through tracking and communicating progress and overall health.

Facilitating resolution of dependencies between teams to prioritize work for the initiative. and decision-making and risk mitigation.

Making informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between quality, cost, and timelines

Inspecting and evaluating progress, and removing impediments for teams

Measuring performance through established critical metrics and deliver agreed upon business, technology, and people results

Be responsible for end-to-end implementation of the Initiative (e.g. inputs, results, operationalization, etc.)

Stock Plan Services (SPS) provides companies with outstanding administration for their equity compensation programs, including stock option, restricted stock, employee stock purchase, stock appreciate and performance plans. SPS Product Development supports the business and technology work streams that deliver against approved initiatives including new products for emerging markets and improvements to existing products.
