With a team of 50 product managers and designers (and growing!), we are looking for a great product manager to join our team. Product and technology are at the heart of everything we do at ASOS and in this role you will be focused on ASOS Marketplace.
ASOS Marketplace is our standalone platform that’s home to some of the most exciting vintage and independent sellers in the world. Our job on the ASOS Marketplace product team is to ensure that those sellers can operate seamlessly, while on the other side of the marketplace buyers can easily find products they love.
We are looking for someone who enjoys managing a product end-to-end, being closely involved in the continuous loop of product discovery and delivery. You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders and teams across ASOS to continuously improve the customer experiences of both our sellers and buyers.
In this role you will develop a strong understanding of the value that ASOS Marketplace provides to our customers and how it can complement and enhance the wider ASOS proposition. This is an exciting time for ASOS Marketplace and you’ll play a key role in helping shape its future.
 
You will 
Work closely with the Lead Product Manager to help share and drive the vision for ASOS Marketplace, both short and long term. 
Translating the vision into an ongoing product strategy and key goals to implement and measure performance against.  
Be able to identify the key unmet needs of our sellers and buyers and be able to address these in ways that drive customer and commercial value.
Energetically drive a ‘test and learn’ approach to develop products and features, delivering customer value whilst learning early and often about what (not) to design and build. 
Regularly update stakeholders and teams about the performance of your features – e.g. seller retention or buyer acquisition – and use this as a backdrop to any product recommendations or decisions. 
Collaborate continuously with our engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, from the product strategy to the detail of a user story to implement, always being able to inspire them by providing the ‘why’.
Be able to operate at scale, learn from an amazing global seller and buyer base and have access to key customer and market data. 
Engage with other product managers and designers at ASOS to achieve results but also to learn from each other. 
You have  
End to end product management experience and are confident navigating the landscape of an entire product portfolio and are able to boil down broader themes into the required level of detail for people to implement.
The ability to support both delivery and discovery processes. 
A strong belief in the role and value of data, and the flexibility to use both qualitative and quantitative insights to drive experiments that generate customer feedback early and often.
Experience with Agile ways of working and collaborating with cross-functional development teams. 
Experience with or a strong interest in marketplace models. 
A way to make decisions or recommend best courses of action. 
The ability to work closely with people across Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, Finance, and Insight/Analytics. 
A curious mind that enables you to self-learn about new customer problem areas or opportunities, and a spirit of co-creation when it comes to defining how they can be addressed. 
A skill of taking people on journey as we instil a product mindset across ASOS and deliver on customer outcomes and business goals.
