Driving success at AXELOS as Product Manager for our IT & Digital certification portfolio:
We are looking for a Product Manager to take our IT & Digital certifications portfolio to the next level of success – developing compelling propositions that ensure wide adoption among senior audiences, new sectors and markets. You will be responsible for the success of the key products related to the IT & Digital scheme, including ITIL 4 certifications and publications.
You are responsible for the vision and roadmap for the AXELOS IT & Digital certification portfolio. You will execute on this vision, working closely with the Product Development, Delivery and Marketing teams, to bring high-quality solutions to market in a commercially viable way. You will work closely with the CCO team to input into their go-to-market plans, including value proposition, positioning, pricing and product design. You will lead the innovation function for the IT & Digital portfolio: identifying and developing new best practice solutions that address real problems and opportunities in organisations.
You are responsible for the success and overall P&L, for the AXELOS IT & Digital certification portfolio, including ITIL 4, and its related certifications and publications.
What you will be doing:
Defining the vision, purpose, positioning, key elements and differentiators for the IT & Digital portfolio
Defining and executing the product roadmap, focusing on new opportunities and maintaining relevance of our existing portfolios
Driving a strategic view of content development to ensure the IT & Digital certification portfolio is supported by appropriate thought leadership materials, to promote awareness and adoption of best practice
Balancing the push and pull from the other key product functions - Digital and Value Added Services - ensuring their requirements are prioritised on your roadmap and vice versa
Working proactively and collaboratively with teams across the business to ensure all aspects of product development, launch and in-market support are considered early in the business case and product design phase
What we are looking for:
Demonstrated experience managing a solution-based product portfolio – vision, proposition development, launch and lifecycle management
Strong commercial acumen
Understanding of Best Practice frameworks and methodologies, and their use within consultancy and end-user organisations
Comprehensive knowledge of one of the following sectors; education, training, professional qualifications (e.g. ACA / CIPD etc.), accreditation.
Proven experience of managing, developing and growing a product portfolio on the international stage
