We are hiring a Product Manager to join our Customer Identity and Access Management team to deliver the strategy, business case evaluation, roadmap, feature requirements, delivery, and overall product lifecycle supporting our omni-channel customer identity management program. We are embarking on an exciting journey to build the next generation of our Customer Identity platform, bridging across all channels and all lines of business the customer experience in profile creation, registration, authentication, and account recovery.  We are looking for someone with a passion to envision innovative solutions and frictionless experiences to the customer while giving them the peace of mind that protecting their personal data is a responsibility in which Cox is to be trusted. You will work closely across all parts of the organization, including Security, Fraud, Product, Digital Marketing and Sales, CARE, Technology, Product Analytics and with both Cox Residential and Cox Business partners.

In this role, you will be accountable for and serve as an authority on all aspects of product portfolio's lifecycle including: launch, customer experience, security benefits, financial and operating metrics, enhancement priorities and product roadmaps. The manager will be recognized as a subject matter expert on multiple products and provide influence and leadership to cross-functional teams and other stakeholders on ideas and solutions that impact the identity management program. This person will operate with considerable latitude for independent judgment and will need the skillset to negotiate and communicate with peers and executive level management.  You will need to model a passion and drive for change and/or enhancements to satisfy customer needs and optimize customer experience through product innovation and/or improvements to internal organization, processes and technology.  You will also need to closely follow trends in the identity management space and be able to process what those trends will mean for the future of identity management at Cox.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Identify business problems and customer needs, defining and driving the development of products from concept to minimal viable product to launch and drive full product lifecycle

Understand the key value drivers for the product areas and demonstrate progress against success metrics to ensure our products are delivering as expected

Manage and review allocated budget and actual spend for product development and lifecycle activities.

Guide and support cross-functional teams to move ideas through a project funnel from ideation through deployment as the champion and owner of the initiative.

Develop as a leader with respect to project development, team interactions, business insights and product management.

Work with partners to develop a long term vision and roadmap for customer identity and access management

Analyze customer, business and product performance metrics and interpret underlying drivers to translate into data-based recommendations.

Translate vision into clear and defined business requirements to drive functional specifications and technical requirements. 

Drive the development of business cases which define the product value proposition to support product and services roadmap investments in collaboration with business partners.

Research and evaluate product performance to prioritize product improvements that optimize customer experience and strengthen customer security

Facilitate communication amongst project leaders, peers and relevant department and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment and awareness of current product state and vision. 

Monitor developments within the industry, vendor community and technology trends and considers these in light of product roadmaps.

Deliver a customer-first approach while understanding the impact to fraud detection and protection of customers’ identities and data

Ensure that key leadership & stakeholders are aligned on proper priorities, opportunities and progress on key initiatives

Collaborate and communicate across the entire organization to ensure proper identity management and security measures are embedded on new projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

Minimum 

7 or more years of experience required in related field (e.g. Product Management, Technology, Marketing, Security, Fraud, Process Improvement, etc.); 5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree

 Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.

Demonstrate strong technical and market knowledge.

Preferred

BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (e.g. Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)

Experience in telecommunications or high-tech environment

Experience in working in identity management or cybersecurity
