Summary
The myMatrixx Product Solutions Team is looking for a Business Product Owner (BPO) to lead new product development. This role will guide and support the development of new solutions through ideation and launch. Works in conjunction with multiple departments to bring a product to market. Applies standard techniques and procedures to routine instructions that require professional knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead discussions with operational and cross-functional partners, client and market facing teams to gather business requirements relative to new product functionality needed to support the business; bring needed requirements to definition of ready (DOR) and execution.
• Document task level business requirements and opportunities
• Backlog management, including prioritization
• Attend and participate in Refinement and Sprint Planning sessions
• Performs and participates in testing, analysis and verification of functionality; such as attending releases and validation ceremonies
• Participate in Quarterly Planning and Prioritization and activities
• Provide weekly or quarterly overall program health to SR. Director and Sr Leadership as needed
• Create internal and external communications and/or documentation relative to functional release or updates
• Maintain product development roadmap and health through project management and adhering to product development discipline and structure relative to new product development

Qualifications

• 4 Year undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred
• Workers' Compensation experience required
• Must have 8-12 years of experience in product or project management or healthcare services fields. If MBA, 5-10 years related experience.
• Excellent analytic and strategic thinking skills
• Emphasis on strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), especially with the ability to work with executives and broad teams; tailoring communication per audience
• Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results
• Ability to prioritize and balance workload accordingly, detail-oriented and proactive
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications

This role is Flex/WFH which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
