Bloomberg LP has built a significant media business spanning television, digital, magazine, radio and live event platforms across the globe. In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is setting out to become the indispensable source of information for the world's most influential business leaders.
 
Bloomberg is looking for an experienced Line Producer with field production experience to join a 24/7 streaming news product. This person will work with news leaders in the organization and journalists around the world. The primary focus for this role will be to line produce a daily streaming show, work on programming development, field produce special coverage and manage the post-production of packaged content. You will have solid understanding, experience and knowledge of news content and the digital space, and strong leadership and organizational skills. You will also have the ability to thrive under the pressure of deadlines and breaking news. This position requires flexible hours to accommodate production schedules, including weekends.
 
You’ll need to have:

•  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
•  Strong editorial, writing, and production skills
•  Video editing experience within Adobe Premiere and the broader Creative Suite
•  2 or more years overall experience producing live news
•  Experience working in a real-time news environment, including breaking news environments 
•  Flexibility in working varied hours
 
We'll trust you to: 

•  Contribute to building and pitching a treatment, broken down episodically, that tells interesting global stories for a socialaudience. 
•  Pitch creative story ideas that will resonate with a social/digital audience 
•  Participate and/or run live field production including but not limited to; building shot sheets, coordinate      and receive field footage including interviews.
•  Work under pressure in a fast-paced creative environment
•  Recognize digital video trends that creates successful video on social and within our streaming service.  
•  Work with Bloomberg reporters on video reports and explainers
