Summary
The Procurement Team deliver effective Value for Money procurement solutions in support of the organisation’s strategic objectives. We manage a wide and diverse portfolio of work including service contracts (e.g. consultancy, FM, cleaning, security); concession contracts (e.g. catering, festivals, events); specialist goods (science equipment, orchids, tractors) and minor & major works (refurbishment / new build on a World Heritage Site with 100+ buildings). We deal with a high volume of activities, often against tight timescales, and consequently this role is busy, varied, requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Job description
You will work alongside 3 Procurement Managers in delivering an end-to-end procurement and contract management on a range of projects across several different categories. You will be responsible for the data management, administration and reporting that underpin the delivery of strong purchasing outcomes.
You will be someone who enjoys working as part of, and closely with, a small, busy team. You should have some basic knowledge of public tendering processes, be proactive, confident. have good communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
