Job Description
A fantastic opportunity to join the UK&I Cruise business as Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for running tenders, contracting services, and continuously improving procurement processes. You will manage the portfolio of products and services for which you are accountable through the procurement life cycle, in accordance with TUI Group procurement policies. You will also support the Senior Procurement Manager on more complex strategic procurement projects. Please note from time to time some travel will be required to conduct ship visits or support meetings/governance reviews with key partners.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Collating product/service requirements from Cruise Colleagues.
- Leading competitive tender processes for Cruise and River products and services.
- Negotiating with suppliers to ensure delivery to specification at the best possible price.
- Working with Cruise Finance to draft investment committee papers containing tender award recommendations for consideration by senior management.
- Working closely with Legal colleagues to produce contracts for review and signature by the Cruise business.
- Working closely with Cruise Operations and Cruise Finance on contract reviews to ensure partners are delivering to their contractual obligations, that the right operational processes are in place, and that costs are closely managed.
- Proactively reviewing contracts to identify cost-saving or operational improvement opportunities.
- Supporting the Cruise Risk manager, leading on the implementation of Supplier Risk Mitigation and Contingency processes.

- A strong communicator with a demonstrable track record of building effective working relationships with internal / external stakeholders
- Commercial / Procurement / Purchasing Experience required
- A confident wordsmith with excellent quality of written communication
- Knowledge/experience of Procurement / Purchasing Systems i.e. SAP / MS Office suite
- Procurement / Purchasing Qualifications i.e. CIPS or studying for CIPS desirable
