Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Procurement/Logistics/Supply Chain/any engineering with• second upper or first class• 5-7 years of experience in managing procurement operations with leading FMCG company in Ghana• Lead procurement of all direct and indirect materials, including locally sourced packaging materials, goods required by sales/marketing/HR etc, any other procurement requiremen tof Ghana business.• Lead a team of 2-3 procurement officers supporting the procurement department.• Ensure adherence to SOPs and compliance processes set by the organization.• Ensure regular reconciliation of vendor accounts in coordination with finance department.• Ensure monthly closing of purchase orders and GRN booking in coordination with finance.• Lead negotiation of prices with vendors individually to deliver on the expectations set by the line manager.• Continuously identify, evaluate, and on-board new vendors after due diligence to strengthen the procurement base for the company.• Collaborate with QC and vendor to ensure continuous improvement and compliance to the• quality parameters of the goods/services being procured.• Ensure delivery of goods as per set timelines, prioritize with vendors on delayed procurements• Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting
