THE ROLE
Category Manager – Professional Services and Facilities Management
Are you a seasoned Procurement Category Manager with a breadth of experience across categories?
Have you managed professional services and facilities management with stakeholders such as HR, Finance, Customer Services, Finance, and Property and procured goods and services from consultancy to cleaning?
We are looking for someone who is keen to join our fast-paced Procurement function where no two days are the same. You will join the Technology and Professional Services team and work alongside other category managers, pivoting and prioritising work as required.
The key duties are:
•Implementing appropriate category strategies
•Ensuring that selected suppliers meet the performance objectives
•Taking responsibility for achieving and reporting financial savings targets
•Implementing world class excellent procurement practices in the category
•Delivering year on year value through innovative cost saving solutions
•Day to day category management and supplier / contract management
•Developing relationships with key stakeholders
•Negotiating contract terms
We’d like to meet someone who:
•Is comfortable and credible in dealing with individuals at various levels across ASOS
•Has extensive operational and commercial experience across various procurement categories
•Has experience in forming and managing effective stakeholder and supplier relationships.
•Can deliver tangible results whilst working in a challenging and changing environment
•Has excellent Excel, analytical and presentation skills
•Has the ability to flex between strategic thinking and ‘getting the job done’
•Is comfortable working in a flexible environment
•Is highly commercial and numerate
THE TEAM
The Procurement function at ASOS is responsible for all 3rd party expenditure with non-stock (GNFR) suppliers. We are organised to manage categories of spend and key stakeholder groups with the flexibility to pivot and prioritise.
