THE ROLE
Procurement Associate – Apprentice
Do you have some procurement experience? Maybe you have worked in a purchasing, legal or finance role where you have gained a good insight into the world of procurement?
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn more and work in a fast-paced Procurement function where no two days are the same.
You will join the Procurement Development and Operations team but will be working within the various category teams on 3–6 month rotations. You will be working with suppliers as well as stakeholders, finance and legal.
You will have the opportunity to spend 24 months working with the team covering the end-to-end procurement process, allowing you to develop your knowledge, skills and understanding whilst contributing to ASOS Procurement goals.
This post is for a fixed term period of up to 24 months and is part of a formal apprenticeship programme. Procurement apprentices are key to our future resourcing strategy providing an opportunity to develop high quality resource.
When would the apprenticeship start and how does it work?
Working towards Procurement & Supply, the training will be mostly delivered online as well as self-study, so you must have a passion for your own development.
You will be managed by a central line manager but will spend 3-6 months in the category teams on rotation. You will have a mentor to offer further support and, in addition to formal training, you will participate in Procurement L&D and gain on the job experience.

The Procurement function at ASOS is responsible for all 3rd party expenditure with non-stock (GNFR) suppliers. We are organised to manage categories of spend and key stakeholder groups with the flexibility to pivot and prioritise.
