The Boeing Global Services - Government organization has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Procurement Analyst (Associate level) to join the Supplier Management team located in Seal Beach, CA.

The successful candidate will support procurement activities for aftermarket repair services in support of defense platforms in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supply Chain organization.

Position Responsibilities:
• Effectively manages priorities for a high volume of government repair orders.
• Works with suppliers to ensure purchase orders are fulfilled and closed and reaches its destination to meet program / customer demands.
• Reviews schedules, creates plans and/or policies for execution of procurement activities.
• Coordinates schedule changes with Procurement Agents for contractual changes to the purchase orders.
• Updates the procurement system with the most recent supplier inputs and status.
• Identify and works to resolve purchase order constraints with internal stakeholders and supplier.
• Executes expedite requests based on program needs.
• Monitors supplier performance and participates in performance management review meetings and recovery initiatives.
• Documents and collaborates with other functional organizations to implement lean improvements.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Knowledgeable in Access and Data Analytics

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:  

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This position is 1st shift.
