We are searching for someone who will have responsibility for co-creating and influencing the strategic direction of research work to be done. Initiates, leads, and performs hands-on technology/capability/method development in order to deliver key technical initiatives. Directs the process technical work of others and leads cross-Job Family teams as needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

BS or MS Degree in Engineering or other related degree and/or work-related experience.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of experience in process technology
  • Experience designing Liquid Process Equipment for manufacturing facilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams towards clear success criteria and deliverables on time or earlier than schedule
  • Experience with Project management
  • Technical Mastery: Demonstrated ability to work in all phases of Engineering Work Processes. Demonstrated ability to execute technical projects and resolve process/equipment issues leveraging internal and/or external resources. Demonstrated ability to train and build capability within others via technology transfer and training. Knowledge of formulated making process equipment is preferred.
  • Leadership (Envision/Executes): Demonstrated ability to put execution plans in place to drive and deliver objectives. Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity through recognizing opportunities & envision the future state for technology connected to a business objective. Demonstrated ability to drive and lead technical teams towards clear success criteria and deliverables. Demonstrated accountability and ownership along with the ability to influence vertically, horizontally, internal and external to the organization.
  • Operates with Discipline: Proven capability to act with a strong sense of urgency, ownership, accountability, penetrate technical details and drive issue resolution in a timely manner.
  • Thinks and Acts Decisively: Integrates knowledge, evaluates data from diverse and varied sources and makes timely decisions. Not afraid to challenge the status quo in decision making and do what's right for your customers.
  • Collaboration/Builds Diverse Relationships: Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with diverse functions & disciplines, internal and external partners. Ability to drive alignment on cross-functional and/or cross-sector technical teams.
  • Embraces Change: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and competing priorities, anticipate and positively respond to rapidly evolving direction. Demonstrated ability to learn early, fast and pivot.
