The Process Lead is expected to develop the operating teams’ technical understanding and mastery of process control.  The Process Lead is the Centerline DMS owner for the cell. This is often an entry-level management position or an experienced hourly lead position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive):

• Participate in plant wide CPS initiatives.
• Owns the Centerline Management system for the department
• Leads process definition to identify Centerline targets and document standards
• Develops control strategies to enable operators to respond to out of control situations
• Owns integrity of Line Event Data Systems (LEDS)
• Analyzes line data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities
• Owns the Changeover system for the department
• Leads root cause problem solving efforts on key chronic losses for the line/dept.
• Coaches teams on Centerline and Changeover DMS execution, problem-solving skills, and CPS fundamentals

Position Qualifications:

• •Demonstrated Excellent Safety Performance.  Accident/Incident-free behavior preferred.

  •Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as independently with good time management, interpersonal and communication skills

  •Competent with computer use—Excel, Word, SAP, etc.

  •Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.

  •Previous recent leadership experience in a food-processing or manufacturing environment is a plus.

  •A self-motivated and self-directed individual that is able to multi-task and lead others.

Education and/or Experience:

• •High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• •Bachelor’s degree Preferred
