The employee will be responsible for the following duties within the Production Department.
- Committed to producing safe, quality food
- Proper documentation is required. All documentation must be filled out completely. All quality documents must be turned in at the end of the shift.
- The Process Helper shall be required to pass the Powered Industrial Vehicle Training. The employee shall fill out proper Pre Shift Inspection Form for any powered industrial vehicle on a daily basis. Pre Shift Inspection Forms shall be turned in to the designated tray at the Warehouse Office.
- The employee shall weigh up ingredients for processing of production needs and shall be able to follow and understand production schedule. The employee shall make sure all document requirements on the batch sheets are filled out completely and legible as required by the Process Helper.
- The employee shall follow the Raw Material FIFO Policy to ensure they are pulling the oldest ingredient and proper documentation.
- Responsible for minor repairs and adjustments and all change over tasks
- Maintain pre weigh area to be clutter free; mop and squeegee area as appropriate, and dispose of trash. The employee shall dispose of all ingredient bags in the compactor. All barrels shall be pre rinsed separated metal from plastic, place 4 on white wood, and stored in warehouse #1 for recycling. All cardboard and plastic shall be removed from the white wood pallets and all pallets taken to designated trailer located in warehouse #1 The employee shall dispose of all cardboard non ingredient contact and follow the procedures for the Cardboard baler OP.00.06 located in Warehouse #5.
- The employee shall be responsible for inventory of materials. The employee shall fill out an ingredient inventory worksheet and bulk tank inventory forms.
- The employee shall follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Ensure actions are consistent with and support plant safety goals and procedures.
- Know and perform all sanitation requirements of processing and production; following correct procedures, sanitation processes and safe use of chemicals.
