Process Engineer- Lubbock, TX This is an exempt level position. Job Responsibilities:The Process Engineer for the Lubbock, Texas Plant is a member of the plant operations team and is responsible for providing engineering support for day-to-day operations and for supporting continuous improvement across operations. The Process Engineer will utilize engineering skills to optimize processes, including analyzing and improving plant performance such as safety, cost, yield, quality, and reliability.Identifies and leads Focused Improvement projects in support of plant goals for safety, cost, yield, quality, and reliability.Acts as a role model for safety and actively participates in safety programs.Collaborates with colleagues and provides feedback, mentorship, and support to operators and shift supervisors to achieve short and long-term plant objectives through the use of KPIs and Performance Excellence principles.Develops and manages projects including purchasing of materials and supplies, management of change, equipment installation, budget tracking, training, and startup.Supports process safety elements including process hazard analysis, operating procedures, operator involvement, and mechanical integrity.Supports quality and food safety management program.Interacts with Maintenance, Automation & Controls, EHS, and Quality CoE members to drive improvements.Job Requirements:Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong ambitious action.Demonstrated teamworking and collaboration skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.B.S. in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering.# EHS IncidentsOverall Equipment EfficiencyYieldFirst Pass PrimeReadiness SavingsRelocation assistance is available with this position.
