The Dell Midrange & Entry Storage Solutions TME (Technical Marketing Engineering) Team is looking for an extraordinary individual with a blend of deep technical skills, analytical thinking, and proven business acumen.  This individual will be responsible for the thought leadership, technical collateral, and technical validation of our midrange and entry storage products and their integrations with VMware products.

What you’ll achieve
As a Principal VMware & Storage Technologist, you will be responsible for developing technical guidance for our customers in the form of technical whitepapers, blogs, and demo videos and includes conducting analysis and providing input on recommended configuration, tuning and optimization of specific VMware products when used with the Dell midrange and entry storage portfolio including PowerVault, Unity, and PowerStore. In this role you will become a technical subject matter expert in the Dell EMC midrange storage portfolio, and your subject matter expertise will be leveraged in customer briefings and sales discussions, as well in our partnership with our product marketing and product management teams to help drive product requirements in key integration areas.

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of experience architecting, deploying, managing, and supporting vSphere environments in a mid-size or enterprise production environment.
• Proven ability to analyze technical situations and develop effective solutions
• Demonstrated technical depth in storage area networks (SAN), Fiber Channel and iSCSI transports, and networking
• Excellent communication skills: speaking, presenting, and writing for audiences of varying technical background
• Proven ability to create technical white papers, videos, blogs, reports, and presentations
• Occasional travel for industry shows and regional conferences

Desirable Requirements

• Current VCP certification
• Experience using VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vRealize Orchestrator (vRO), and the vSphere Client
• Experience with containerization with one or more technologies like Tanzu, Kubernetes, EKS.
• Experience with Dell Storage platforms
• Ability to automate via scripting with PowerShell, PowerCLI, vSphere CLI, or related A
