Responsibilities

• Bring clarity, create energy, and drive results – you’ll set a vision, rally the team behind it, and deliver for our customers.
• Demonstrate the Microsoft manager attributes of coach, model, and care with the engineers on your team so they all learn, grow, and succeed.
• Plan and prioritize work for your team, including collaborating with partner organizations.
• Create an inclusive environment that attracts and retains high-performing engineers.
• Constantly learn and grow as an engineer and an engineering leader
• Engage with senior leadership in building the vision and future growth plans for online Shopping
• Create and manage cross-team collaboration within and outside Shopping org for force-multiplier impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of industry software engineering experience, including delivering highly available cloud-based services and platforms.
• Successful track record of independently driving and delivering products from inception to ship is a must.
• 3+ years of experience in managing teams of 10-20 software engineers.
• Passionate about solving real world problems using technology, and be motivated to drive results with minimal guidance.
