Job Description:

The IT Solutions Platform Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated problem solver that can navigate ambiguity to build software focused on automation and tooling. The candidate must have a collaborative mindset to be able to work well with fellow developers, system analysts, and QA engineers across a distributed team. There is significant crossover of Systems Engineering and Software development in this role, so understanding server management, architecture and deployment patterns is a must.
 

The Expertise You Have and Skills You Bring

• Minimum of 6 years of software engineering development experience, preferably JavaScript, NodeJS, GoLang, Python, C#, Java or similar languages

• Hands-on experience with the API Design & Development

• Experience with Automation Tools/Frameworks such as Angular, Spring boot etc.

• Experience in the creation of Automated Deployment Pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory)

• Experience with public cloud such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform

• Exposure to the ServiceNow, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana

• Detailed understanding of the Agile software development process

• Proven hands-on experience working with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Git, REST, Jenkins

• Experience with the SRE principles and concepts, implementation, and execution

• Proven experience with the Agile (Scrum / Kanban) methodology, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD)

• An Innovative mentality

• Ability to identify and communicate issues clearly and concisely

• Willingness to take ownership of deliverables

The Team

You will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining a wide variety of internal tooling that enables our teams to better manage and run ITSM and Data driven dashboards and observability tools. The Solutions Team is a full agile development team, with end to end DevOps responsibilities.
