The Role

Digital Brokerage Solutions Technology is seeking a passionate Principal Full Stack Engineer to be part of a production excellence squad responsible for monitoring, identification, isolation and timely resolution of system or application issues in the production and non-production environments. We strive to maintain production stability and a non-production environment that is available for squads to test changes prior to production install. The associate will participate in shift coverage and on-call rotation. Provides technology solutions to issues, manages relationships, and collaborates with technical partners. Lead efforts within the team and / or groups outside the team. Participates in the identification of and planning for future needs.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Experience in Production Support and/or Analysis with ability to work across geographic locations, providing resolution to incidents.

Confirmed skills in root cause analysis of incidents

Coordinate with technical partners on incidents and collaborate with development teams for resolution

Experience with monitoring tools e.g. CloudWatch, DataDog, Splunk

Work well with other support groups and build partnerships

Experience with iOS and Android development in a hybrid tech stack (Ionic/Capacitor/Cordova) Client-Side development – Angular, NgRx, CSS, HTML

Knowledge of web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.) and Spring Framework with integrating with APIs and RESTful web services

Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and XCode Server and deploying applications in a DevOps environment

Knowledge of cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Certifications a plus

The Team

The Production Excellence squad is part of Digital Brokerage Solutions Technology Domain within Fidelity Brokerage Technology. Our team collaborates with product owners, developers, architecture, and application teams to implement technical solutions and provide stability for the Plynk mobile investing platform. We work in a very dynamic agile environment and the current suite of applications provides great learning opportunities!
