You will also be responsible for ensuring that development work can be done effectively, relying on context provided by Lead Software Engineers and development teams.
You will be a source of expertise and direction on software development methodologies and as a member of the Software Development Practice’s leadership team, you will embody an open and positive approach, to support HM Land Registry progressing the DDaT Software Development profession, understanding all roles and helping to build our community
To meet the requirements of this role, you will have previous experience in line management of technical job families and working within a wider technical and non-technical leadership team. You will have an in-depth knowledge of application design and a strong understanding of modern software development practices, methods and techniques.
In addition, you are a skilled and experienced planner, implementer and leader of change in a complex and evolving environment and have the ability to be able to turn vision and ideas into practice.
