What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Principal Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. You will work in an agile structure as a part of a global product team providing feature development and production support for a large and complex instance of ServiceNow. The incumbent will be expected to participate in all scrum and deployment activities, work from assigned stories, defects or incidents and provide input into design and configuration. Work will include extended hours while supporting deployments and other production related activities such as service restoration or incident triage when needed.
You will:
• Be a member of a fast paced global product team working on new and enhanced ServiceNow capabilities
• Lead changes in design, architecture, methodology for new program capabilities, automations and integrations
• Assist in crafting the strategic technical and architectural direction to the programming function
• Work in a Product Model that includes end-to-end ownership of the product's design, operation, maintenance and growth

Essential Requirements
• 12+ years of IT Software Development/ServiceNow development experience
• Hands on in Glide and Jelly Scripting, .NET, Java Script, HTML, XML, AJAX, AngularJS, JSON
• Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and their relationships
• Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades, domain separation, Portals, Scoped Applications and use and management of update sets
• SNOW Certified Administrator
Desirable Requirements
• SNOW Certified Implementation Specialist
• ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Certification
