Job summary
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager – Technical to build the next generation of products that will change the way customers world-wide discover, explore, and interact with Prime Video using Machine Learning. This high-impact role will work with teams across Amazon - Alexa, AWS and Studios to bring to life new localization products and services that leverage cutting edge science as well as impactful user experience design. The role requires strategic thinking to bring together themes, and strong technical expertise as well as strong leadership skills and an ability to partner cross-functionally within and outside of Amazon. As a member of the team, you’ll need to understand the fundamentals of content creation, content localization and what is takes to launch large-scale products that allow our business teams (content, marketing) to scale. You will evolve our current tooling with your understanding of cloud computing (AWS) while innovating on current suite of localization services. You will also need to frequently engage business, product, and technology leaders and be a strong advocate for our global customers. Key job responsibilities
* Define an integrated product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Workbench solutions in conjunction with multiple teams across GVSC, Studios. Bring together multiple business, research and technical perspectives and be the primary connector.
* Build operating plans and working backwards plans for new features and tools to enable more localized experiences.
* Contribute to both product and technical design discussions, across partner teams, and ensure that we’re building the right experiences
* Collaborate closely with Science team to identify emerging opportunities as well as business users on key needs
* Identify short and long-term product opportunities, provide actionable recommendations, drive trade-off decision making and influence stakeholders to implement durable solutions.
* Plan, execute, and monitor program and manage risks

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

> Degree in STEM or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
> 7+ years building tech products and solving complex tech problems in a distribute systems environment
> Experience in delivering in a global setup and successfully influencing partner teams on behalf of your customers, and managing upwards to senior leadership
> Experience working on solutions end-to-end from developing a long lasting product vision, implementation to measuring impact, and managing continuous improvement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of technical product management experience
Expertise with ML, or related products (e.g. speech recognition, natural language understanding)
Expertise in collaborating with science teams
Track record of setting a bold vision and executing on it with your direct team and with partner teams
Strong senior leadership presence with verbal & written communication skills
Analytical, data-driven decision making and ability to solve problems with data fast
Experience in Localization, Video editing technology etc. a plus
