The Role

Are you passionate about helping people make smarter money choices, understand complex financial topics, and make progress toward big life goals? Fidelity Investments is looking for an experienced writer to create compelling personal finance content in a voice that appeals to millennials.

In this new role, you’ll join a growing team that’s dedicated to producing personal finance editorial content that engages young and diverse audiences across multiple platforms, including web, newsletters, events, and more.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of financial online writing and/or editing experience
• Experience in breaking down complicated and sometimes boring topics and making them clear, interesting, and relatable
• Familiarity with multiple content formats, such as long-form articles, videos, short-form social posts, infographics, newsletters, and events
• Ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced editorial environment
• Eagerness to collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding content experiences to diverse audiences
• Autonomous working style and commitment to keeping progress moving forward, not only for yourself but for the entire team

The Team

The role fits within Fidelity’s Content Team, which is dedicated to helping our customers become more confident and successful managing their money. The team lives within the marketing department for Fidelity Investments’ Personal Investing Division, which is focused on serving individual investors with a broad range of products and services. We have a passion for putting clients first, and creating content that is simple, human, and engaging.
