An excellent opportunity for an experienced Principal HV Electrical Engineer to join or Real Estate & Infrastructure’s team in East Grinstead.

We are ideally looking for a individual with protection & control equipment design experience and application at all stages, starting from equipment approval for commercial use, design development stage and detailed engineering stage

Job Description:

Your experience will need to include

• Design AC/DC schematics and prepare drawings.
• Design panel G.A.s and prepare drawings.
• Prepare wiring diagrams.
• Prepare multi core schedules.
• Sound knowledge of equipment and layouts of substation up to 400kV. 
• Design site layout and prepare drawings for:
• Transformers
• Switchgear
• Busbars

What you’ll be doing:

• Designs, tests, installs and maintains large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing.
• Prepare standard technical specifications based on IEC and British Standards.
• Carry out system protection reviews and grading calculations.
• Participate in meetings as required.
• Ensure quality assurance system compliance and conduct periodic reviews.

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. (in Electrical Engineering)., Chartered  Eng
• Extensive experience in T&D sectors.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior NG and DNO experience will be an asset.
• TP141A qualification will be added advantag
