We are Enterprise Experience and Growth Team, with a charter of bringing 1B USD+ revenue to Microsoft each year from Server business. Our mission to make our Server Offering More Secure while easing out their Cloud Transition Plans. We as well own Substrate Management Plane that we are optimizing for enhanced customer experience. Our team has a mission to accelerate transition of SMB & Large enterprises from On-Prem Servers to O365 Service. Simply put, we empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.  

Responsibilities

We are looking for a strong product leader to help define a vision and road-map for Exchange and Skype server business and accelerate customer transition to Cloud.

This is a Principal Group Engineering Manager role with opportunity for deep technical impact, product innovation and lots of executive visibility with opportunity for advancement. We envision this team to solving some of the complex problem in the world while executing with clarity and energy to deliver customer success.

You will be an inspiring, inclusive and collaborative leader to lead a team of 50+ responsible for delivering on customer and business value in this space. You, as part of the leadership team, will play a key role in building the team with right culture, partnering with other teams, interacting with customers and representing the innovations in our organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing highly complex software services at internet scale
• Exceptional management skills to collaborate across teams and to inspire talented engineering talent.
• 5+ years of experience in server, cloud and related technologies.
• 12+ years of experience in architecture, performance, scale, backend
• 4+ years of engineering management
• Degree in CS or equivalent experience
