The Role

This is a full stack tech lead position for a development Chapter in Analytics & Reporting space for FBT.

Looking for a talented, highly motivated Software Engineer and a technology leader with strong expertise in programming and software design.

In this role, you will be responsible for the developing quality software components and applications for brokerage products.

You will build, modernize, and maintain APIs and web applications. You will also apply and adopt variety of cloud-native technologies for the products.

In addition to building software, you will have an opportunity to help define and implement development practices, standards and strategies.

This position can be located in Raleigh, Boston, Merrimack, Smithfield or Westlake.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Proven track record as a Technical Lead, crafting new solutions and re-platforming applications

8+ years of primary development experience (currently hands on) on customer facing web applications in Angular 6+, Typescript, CSS/SASS, NodeJS, Jasmine, Protractor.

4+ years of API Development using Java / Spring MVC, NodeJS, Swagger

Strong expertise with user interface design and development using Angular framework is a must

Specialization in building Single Page Applications (SPAs) with Angular application component and module coding. Extensive knowledge of theoretical angular software engineering.

Develop User interfaces for Modern Rich Internet Applications with the latest Front End Technologies.

Design interactive front-end application Using Angular, NGRX state management, RXJS, Bootstrap.

Experience migrating legacy AngularJs applications to Angular is a plus

Specialization in crafting and developing solutions with Java, Spring Boot

Extensive experience with API design and building RESTful Webservices and Event-based systems

Experience with messaging middleware like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ or AWS SQS

Develop full stack applications using AWS cloud-platforms like EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, IAM Roles, KMS, EKS, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, Elastic Search and AWS NoSql database like DynamoDB.

Knowledge about in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting

Working experience on API Management Platform such as APIGEE

Knowledge about Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with developing sophisticated Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline including software configuration management, test automation, version control, static code analysis.

Test development and application performance testing using cypress, code quality and code quality using SonarQube and secure code validation with Veracode.

Ability to learn and implement new technologies

Very high problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work with global teams distributed across geographic locations
