Job Description:

The Role

As a Principal Database Administrator, you will provide technical vision and support over critical projects as part of our strategy to expand our database service offerings. You will be part of a broader team that maintains our overall technical strategy and coordinated roadmap.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 8-10+ plus years performing Oracle 12c and 19c administration

• 3-5 years actively involved in enterprise level cloud database initiatives

• Expertise in data migration and replication

• Significant background in solving sophisticated technology challenges

• Expertise in two or more AWS cloud-based database technologies

• Expertise in DBMS systems ( Oracle, Postgres, MySql) & NoSQL databases (Cassandra)

• Expertise in Distributed replication technologies ( Oracle Goldengate, DataGuard etc)

• Expertise in cloud data platforms viz., RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB and Snowflake

• Leadership in a functional team setting with a flexible demeanor

• Ability to quickly synthesize ideas, options, and thoughts into solutions

• Expertise performing requirement reviews and contributing to architecture decisions

• Database CI/CD delivery expertise using common tools and framework

• Performing design evaluations for migration strategies for on-premise physical databases to cloud

• Advanced communication skills both verbal and written
