The position combines database design, develop quality database code, database adminsitration and systems engineering expertise to conceive, build and operate high-performance fault-tolerant database systems and infrastructure for a wide variety of database-centric applications.This position is accountable for design and develop highly scalable, high-performance latency-sensitive and reliable enterprise-level distributed database-centric web based applications using Microsoft technologies as well as open source systems.

This position may do the database logical design, physical design, data modeling, application development, performance management and monitoring systems. architect, and build databases from determining business requirements, to planning and deploying test and  production systems. Interact with our software engineers to optimize overall application design, which will require performance modeling 

and query reviews and optimizations. Apply sound release management and configuration management principles to ensure the stability

of production environments. Interface with other members of the IT and operations teams to quickly and efficiently resolve problems with 

applications and database systems.  Be responsible for driving innovation through implementation across functional teams internally and externally to meet business requirements.

Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

Experience with major RDBMS – Oracle/MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB/DocumentDB Exposure to Agile & Waterfall development methods.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in related field and 10+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

5+ years experience with major RDBMS like Oracle/MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB/DocumentDB

5+ years experience in data modeling skills, logical and physical database designs

3+ years experience with IBM CDC and GoldenGate used for data replication"                

5+ years experience in writing complex stored procedures and functions.

3+ years experience to code across a number of languages from Python to Java with very strong skills in Linux and scripting"                

5+ years Hands-on experience administering large Oracle 12c/19c RAC/Exadata, mongoDB/documentDB databases, using DataGuard/SRDF for replication, experience with backup & recovery using RMAN

3+ years experience with Oracle RAC on Exadata

2+ years experience with SVN or other major source control system."                

3+ years experience as a technical leader who can identify risks, create risk management / mitigation / transfer plans and implement plans to contain risk.
