Principal Architect – Commercial | London | Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Architect to join our team where you will be responsible for the roadmap and architecture of the Commercial platforms and services that underpin our business. About the role:
The Principal Architect is responsible for the creation and development of the Technology strategy for Whitbread’s Digital and Commercial business areas. Working closely with key business stakeholders, Technology Platform owners and the rest of the Architecture team to ensure a coherent and focused approach to how we develop our technology estate.
The key element of the role is to drive the Commercial technology roadmap based on Whitbread’s business strategy, developing and agreeing the Target Architecture and maintaining the Portfolio Analysis covering the current architecture and platforms which support all sales channels, including Digital eCommerce Websites, Mobile Apps, Contact Centre, Distribution and Front Desk.
The technology and digital teams are at the start of a huge commercial transformation programme and we investing heavily into technology and our people.
