Job Description

As a Pricing Supervisor or an Associate Manager of Pricing in Progressive's Commercial Lines (CL), you'll lead a team of analysts and have the opportunity to develop and pilot processes in our new rate revision system. CL is an excellent place to launch your leadership career. You’ll be involved in interesting projects such as the complete redesign of front and back-end pricing tools, advancing analytics using data visualization and new data sources/tools, and actively manage the pricing of several states. Commercial Lines has been growing rapidly, and this role provides opportunities to grow your career with the #1 writer of commercial auto insurance in the US. Plus, you'll have the chance to get involved from the ground-up on various initiatives.

Must-have qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with an emphasis in finance, mathematics, accounting or related field of study (e.g., economics, statistics)

Minimum of three years property casualty insurance experience or related professional experience (e.g., analytical work in a professional setting)

Preferred Skills

Prior insurance Pricing, Reserving, and/or Product experience preferred

Superior analytical/technical, time management, and organization skills

Strong people-orientation and experience training/mentoring others

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment

Experience and demonstrated proficiency with data tools and systems

Compensation

$66,300 - $107,000/year depending on position level and experience

Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
