Subscription is defined as one of the most important strategic focus areas for Schibsted, and subscription as a business model represents great possibilities for the whole Group.

Are you our new Pricing & packaging specialist?
Our ambition is to become the preferred provider of subscription services in the Media industry. We are continuing to grow and broaden Schibsted's portfolio of subscription offers and we see a large untapped potential in product combinations, i.
e. people subscribing to several products, either through bundles or cross-sales.
Common Schibsted Products is a new business unit within Consumer Business that will focus on growing our subscription base by leveraging product combinations.
In this role you will be part of a cross functional team of 7-9 that will drive our business development of new subscription concepts leveraging the strengths in Schibsted’s portfolio of brands and partnerships.
You are an analytical and commercially driven pricing expert with proven results. You are committed to help the organisation deliver sustainable improved profitability through both tactical and strategic measures.
We are at the start of our cross-brand packaging journey, and in this role, you will have great influence over what that journey will look like.
You will report to Head of Business Development & Packaging Hanne Bryntesen Finstad and have a key role in the team.
Your responsibilities :
Develop packaging and bundling strategy for B2B and B2C leveraging the entire Schibsted portfolio of products (across News Media, Ventures and potentially Marketplaces)
Gather and analyse strategic market pricing information
Develop the price model and price metrics incl. execution of price sensitivity testing in order to establish the right product / market fit for the subscription products and bundles
Establish commercial terms that govern the business relationship across the Schibsted brands, including business rules related to upsales, downgrades and changes to the packages
Initiate and Iead tactical pricing activities and develop the pricing strategy in order to maximise customer value
Involve and collaborate with Sales & Marketing in development of customer value propositions and in implementation of changes related to packaging & pricing
Operational management of discounts, mandates, sales commissions and more
Revenue growth management
Contribute in the teams development of new subscription services & concepts

Masters degree in Business Administration or similar
Experience and proven results from strategic and tactical packaging and pricing
Experience from advanced packaging and price analytics
Familiar with packaging and pricing analytics such as MaxDiff, Conjoint, Van Westendorp or similar.
Very result oriented - a do’er’ that gets things done
Highly analytical and with a strategic mindset
Commercially oriented
Passionate about high pace data-driven decision making
Experience from a matrix organization, preferably from media or other subscription-driven industries
