Job Description
Works with various departments such as Field Operations, Business Development and Talent Acquisition. Assist in preparing pricing for Requests for Proposals (RFP’s), analyze staffing to performance, develop and forecast staffing. Drives pricing submission in conjunction with the Sales Support team and validate actual staffing compared to forecasted staffing levels. Work with client supply chain personnel and represents ABM Aviation in initial negotiations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Labor Planning and Performance
- Understands all aspects of the contract requirements to include quality metrics
- Collaborate with Field Operations to develop/adjust staffing based on forecasted client demands
- Review allocation of staff and resources to maximize productivity and customer experience
- Analyze and understand the relationship of staffing to financial and operational performance/SLAs
- Works with operations and finance to address under performing contracts (financial and service level)
Pricing/RFPs
- Works with Field Finance, Operations (local, Regional, and VP level), Legal/Risk, Insurance, Procurement, etc., to finalize pricing for each RFP. This includes verifying current expenses, pay rates, hours, management and overhead, assets, technology costs, rental costs, etc., and provides P&L bridges from current financial performance to proposed pricing (for retention opportunities). Verifies all the above, using various sources, internal and external.
- Continues to monitor and update Outstanding Proposals through various and multiple rounds of pricing updates (often 2 to 4 rounds of pricing for airline opportunities). This includes updating all necessary internal departments for input, updating internal pricing models, and updating client models by the client’s expected due date.
- Addresses pricing issues through RFP post-mortems.
- Fully understands all aspects of the contract that will affect pricing exercises
- Updates standard costs within the internal pricing model.
- Works with Director of Pricing to update pricing methodologies bi-annually.
- Tracks and verifies Minimum Wage increases, tax rate changes, and any other Government/Mandated expenses and how they affect pricing.
- Continually improves the Aviation pricing model to better handle all forms of client requests/models and internal reporting needs.
- Work with Sales/Account Managers to process each opportunity through SalesForce; estimates preliminary pricing for new RFPs, updates pricing amounts throughout the process, and ensures overall accuracy of SalesForce Data.
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- BBA with major in Accounting or Finance preferred (not required). MBA/CPA/CFM/CMA preferred. Excellent at Excel with strong enough skills to self-teach via online searches or classes.
EXPERIENCE
- Preferable 5-7 years’ experience in pricing, supply chain, purchasing or finance role, Pricing experience, SalesForce experience and experience building detailed Excel models preferred.
