As a Preventative Maintenance Technician in our Andover Manufacturing Site, you will be responsible for managing specific plant projects and providing specialized technical services to the site.

Responsibilities and Scope of Role:

• Reduce the number of breakdowns and improve maintenance procedures

• Update standards and procedures, and reduce maintenance costs (parts & labor)

• Improve equipment performance and predictability due to percent increase of planned maintenance work

• Plan & Schedule Maintenance Work

• Analyze failures to Eliminate Repeat Breakdowns

• Track and Report Maintenance Indicator Results and In Process Measures

• Develop and Implement Improvement Plans

• Champion and Lead the Continuous Improvement Process

Qualifications

We are seeking individuals with the following skills:

• 1-3 years preferred experience in a relevant role

• Knowledge or experience in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling and Breakdown Elimination

• Understanding of SAP Maintenance and Storeroom preferred

• Strong organizational and technical skills

• Strong time management, communication, and training skills

• A great work ethic, self-drive, and an eagerness to learn new skills

• A positive attitude, a strong sense of ownership in your work, and a high level of integrity

• Basic competence in computer skills

We believe in order to be able to perform on the job, you will need to meet the following physical requirements:

• Use basic hand and power tools

• Be medically and physically fit to operate in a manufacturing environment

• Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms; twist, turn and bend

• Enter confined spaces

• Stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time

Also consider the following requirements for the position, as you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older

• Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education

• Be able to wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes, etc.)
