Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • To provide pre-sales support to National Sales functions, colleagues and customers (mostly remotely and on-site when required, both in conjunction with and independently from Account Managers) 
  • To lead and contribute on the creation of complex and/or bespoke technical & commercial proposals 
  • To assist the Presales Lead in identifying, researching and introducing new products, services, suppliers and partners to expand and improve the overall Entrust service offering 
  • To work in conjunction with subject matter experts within the business to establish a clear & defined roadmap for all active portfolio products to ensure their continued relevance and suitability  

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience within a similar role (Educational sector experience desirable) 

Wide range of IT knowledge and experience to include (but not be limited to): 

  • Microsoft and open source server operating systems 
  • -SAN & HCI storage technologies  
  • Cloud configuration and management (Microsoft Endpoint & Google desirable) 
  • Cloud productivity technologies (Office 365 & Google Workspace desirable) 
  • End user devices & OS’ (Windows, Android, iOS, Chrome OS, Mac OS) 
  • Server virtualisation (VMware & Hyper-V) 
  • Fundamental understanding or wired and wireless LAN technologies (HP Aruba desirable) 
  • Windows network management and administration
