Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution with a focus on Power Systems or Power Conversion
- 12+ years of experience within the power electronics domain
- Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and within the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in system architecture of low and medium voltage power conversion, medium voltage motor drive technology, drive/converter topologies, high-power electronics; electric machines and controls; electrification of vehicles, energy storage, and grid connected converters; alternative power generation and distribution. and power systems engineering, including creating specifications, defining application space, designing technical solution concepts, and building and testing prototypes to validate models/hypotheses and documenting results
- Experience with the design and analysis of magnetic components for power electronics circuits—such as high-frequency inductors and transformers
- Extensive knowledge of the materials and construction techniques and how they affect their characteristics
