The rapid growth of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent, Power BI), is fueled by organizations across the globe investing in leveraging low-code/no-code application and automation development tools to accelerate their digital transformation ambitions. 

Power Apps Portals is emerging to be one of the fast-growing capabilities of Power Platform for large organizations, education institutions, and governments around the world to quickly design and launch external data-centric websites. Examples of Power Apps Portal-powered sites include Government-to-citizen services like COVID-19 vaccination scheduling, Citizen 311 services, and Citizen FAQ sites. Other sites powered by Power Apps Portals enable self-service customer returns, product warranty registrations, course registrations in Education, application processing, onboarding, and other customer-facing self-service applications of all kinds.   

The Power Apps Portals service continues to grow exponentially as organizations large and small invest in low code to accelerate their digital transformation ambitions. Power Apps Portals is a strategic growth area for Microsoft, but more importantly, it is a disruptive technology enabling CIOs and their teams to work closely with business users to launch these external websites to better serve their customers. The product is a battle-tested SaaS platform to host and administer these websites that have large scale reach, security & compliance, and responsiveness built in for all form factors from desktop to mobile. 

In this role, you’ll lead a team of Product Managers and Technical Program Managers to come up with product strategy for the next 10x growth cycle, deliver innovative experiences for creating, launching and administering external websites, and establish Microsoft as a category leader. You’ll nurture and grow our culture of customer-obsessed, action-oriented product thinkers who “run lean” and embrace a “no jerks” mentality. Your team will partner closely with engineers and designers to identify areas of investments that give the biggest ROI, translate them into differentiated experiences that are measured by high usability and user engagement metrics.  

This role requires proven track record in strategic planning, customer centricity, 10X growth mindset, business acumen, and product management leadership skills. You’ll build deep relationships with sales, marketing, business planning, customer success, and many partner product teams across the company to shape the evolution of low code external website development in Microsoft Cloud. And you’ll become a champion for the movement with customers and in our thriving communities of users.

Responsibilities

• Take your deep strategy and product management expertise and combine it with your understanding of our customers' needs to come up with Product strategy, vision and definition aligned to business objectives and advancing the capabilities of Power Apps Portals.  
• Champion and advocate for our customers in evolving their experience with Power Apps Portals and delivering products towards high user satisfaction and engagement. 
• You will lead product investments around platform capabilities to host the most secure and scalable SaaS platform that can host large scale responsive website. Best in class pro-developer, administrative & governance experiences to win the hearts of CIOs of large commercial, educational and government organizations. 
• Grow a high-performing team of diverse Product Managers to deliver world-class product experiences.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications 

• 10+ years of experience with high-scale cloud and enterprise services or applications.  
• 10+ years of proven track record in coming up with product strategy to take product that has found product-market fit and now needs to scale to become market leader in enterprise, commercial, Education, and government space. 
• 5+ years of experience with proven track record building high performing product management teams that have delivered high-satisfaction SaaS services at scale.
• Strong background in high-scale cloud and enterprise services or applications. 
• Proven track record in coming up with product strategy to take product that has found product-market fit and now needs to scale to become market leader in enterprise, commercial, EDU and government space. 
• Proven track record building high performing product management teams that has delivered high-satisfaction SaaS services at scale. 

Preferred Qualifications  

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Strategy, Design Thinking, or related technical experience  

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
