Job Summary:

Are you someone who is looking to bring joy and happiness to our shipboard Crew in a fast and physical environment? If you answered yes, then you maybe a perfect candidate for the role of Port Package Representative. As Port Package Representative, you will receive, sort, manifest, and pack for loading; all our ships mail. Our Crew rely on receiving all the essentials of land by mail and it's you that ensures our Crew receive their mail in an efficient and timely manner. You will sign for a few hundred packages a day, sort, electronically manifest, and pack for loading each day. You may also spend time researching and troubleshooting packages that may not have a defined vessel.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, manifest, and package all our ships mail for loading.
• Sign for packages, sort, electronically manifest, and pack for loading each day.
• Research and troubleshoot packages that may not have a defined vessel.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must type 25 wpm.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Software.
• Team player.
• Strong communication: written/verbal.

Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time position. Looking for full availability Monday through Saturday. You will be scheduled up to four days or more depending on business needs.
