Job Description:
This role sits within the Capita Technology Solutions division working for Electranet within the secure services tower. The Business Unit is responsible for provision of telecommunication services to several secure government accounts. This role will drive consistent and excellent service across this tower into the end customer in line with the relevant service levels and ensure excellent quality and help manage input, output, time and cost at project and internal management level.

Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the role holder will be responsible for the PMO element of planning, execution, and delivery of a telecommunication project. The role holder will have the ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements, make difficult decisions and understand any potential risks and repercussions of implementing changes. They will also manage and lead other members of the team. This management element is also to promote team development and supply your team with career enhancement advice.

Background / Qualifications
Has achieved Prince 2 Foundation and/or a similar qualification and be valid.
Has proven PMO management and leadership skills, excellent skillset in Microsoft office with emphasize on Excel, and understanding of telecommunication networks and infrastructure. Knows own organisation’s policy framework, management structures and reporting procedures for all aspects of the programme’s development and operational environment. Has excellent planning, communication, and presentation skills.
Knowledge/Skills
• Minimum MOD SC clearance and willing to undergo DV clearance or willingness to achieve this
• Minimum MOJ clearance and willing to undertake MET clearances or willingness to achieve this
• Must understand MS Office fully with proven experience
• Excellent IT skills to include the MS suite of products and MS Project
• Hold level 3 CMI in management and leadership or similar or willingness to achieve this
• 5 years minimum experience of working within the communications environment as a PMO lead or similar position
• Full UK driving license which is valid and clean
• Understanding of working within a government secure environment to be able to work at levels up to and including secret
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent financial budget control

• Basic understanding of CAD
• Basic use of Visio for producing flowchart diagrams and organisation structure charts
