Job Title: PLM Solution Architect

Location: W6250 Pioneer Road, Fond du Lac, WI 54935

Job Description: Lead the requirement gathering workshops and solution design sessions and work closely with the PLM implementation team. Provide architectural guidance on the following PLM application design, user experience improvements, database tuning, data migrations and performing upgrades to the PLM application. Architect PLM systems and design PLM components, including installation and configuration of database, web mid-tier, client side, CAD integration and PLM indexed search engine components. Responsible for installation and technical architecture of PLM applications. Provide leadership to the PLM team with release and sprint planning. Configure PLM application, BOM Management, Change Management, Reporting, ERP Interfaces, and other modules of PLM. Perform PLM integrations with ERP and custom-built interfaces for reporting, downstream supply chain and service applications. Responsible for PLM application development utilizing technologies such as SOA, restful web services, PLMXML and TCL scripting for building PLM Oracle manufacturing interface. Work as a functional subject matter expert for PLM platform and coordinate with technical architects, solution engineers and implementation engineers. Troubleshoot PLM technical issues at various levels like installation, deployment, configuration, server side and client-side issues. Leverage data analytics to make strategic and tactical business decisions. Implement PLM solutions for Medical Devices and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries.

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or mechanical engineering.

Experience Requirement: Seven years of PLM application design experience.

Special Skills: Must have work experience in each of the following: 1) architect PLM systems and design PLM components, including installation and configuration of database, web mid-tier, client side, CAD integration and PLM indexed search engine components; 2) PLM integrations with ERP and custom-built interfaces for reporting, downstream supply chain and service applications; and 3) PLM application development utilizing technologies such as SOA, restful web services, PLMXML and TCL scripting for building PLM Oracle manufacturing interface.
