Job Purpose and Impact
The Plant Operations Senior Supervisor will provide strategic operational oversight for all production and operating facilities within our Fort Worth cook plant. In this role, you will oversee plant production of cooked protein and accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Develops and oversees operational plans and monitors routine operations for all RTE production processes for multiple departments and processes.
- Ensure ongoing review of key performance indicators with focus on continuous improvements in site operational targets.
- Partner collaboratively with appropriate centers of excellence including, but not limited to engineering and plant management.
- Oversee production outcomes, quantity and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.
- Partners with environment, health and safety and food safety, quality and regulatory experts to identify the most effective approach for implementing and monitoring corporate safety policies and procedures.
- Oversee all operations from multiple departments, processes or shifts to ensure teams are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of prior production plant supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Two plus years of shift superintendent experience
- Lean Six Sigma
- Experienced with Microsoft Office applications and SAP
- Work experience within RTE fully cooked protein products
- Directly monitors production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.
- Food experience at the manager level or superintendent
