The Plant Human Resources Specialist will support HR administrative responsibilities. This would include benefits, payroll, and related HR process information. Provide guidance to employees, former employees, managers, and HR partners. Additionally, responsible for processing company's HR transactions, providing functional support for different HR systems and policies, administering the company's employee benefit plans, and supporting the processing of payroll for the location. Minimum 2 years related experience.

Position Responsibilities

• Process and enter accurate confidential employee information and changes in HRIS (Workday & Kronos experience preferred), including new hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes, leave of absences, benefit enrollments, direct deposits, general deductions
• Help with communication and administration of employee benefit plans such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Wellness, and other programs as implemented.
• Support the integrity of employee records and Workday data
• Assist processing weekly payroll
• Help administer Labor Relations processes.
• General record keeping & filing of both physical and electronic records.
• Support team members from all areas
• Identify, suggest, document, and implement ongoing process improvements.
• Assess inquiries or reported issues to determine best method of resolution.
• Work collaboratively within a team to share ideas for driving improvements and consistency of execution for HR processes

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma, plus 2 years+ experience in HR-related field
• Bachelor's degree in applicable field
• HR/Payroll/Benefits knowledge
