Plant Director - Cleveland, TN

The Cleveland Plant Director plays a fundamental and critical role for Mars Wrigley North America in delivering the Growth ambition and the highest GSV of any other site in Mars Inc. The Cleveland Plant Director Role is one of very high visibility and connectivity across the corporation; it represents an outstanding career opportunity for high caliber associates and is considered a feeder role for very senior supply leadership roles in Mars Inc.  

This role has primary responsibility for providing associates a safe, rewarding and engaging environment with the opportunity to grow in manufacturing superior branded products and serving our Customers through an efficient pipeline, while offering excellence in customized solutions, logistics and customer service.

What are we looking for?

• Prior experience as a plant manager is absolutely required (min. 3 years) and prior Food/CPG experience is preferred.
• experience in leading and engaging big group of associates
• Minimal BS/BA degree, preferably with engineering, industrial engineer, logistics and or food science qualifications.  Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Champion the creation of an engaging and inclusive environment across the site in line with the 5 P
• Deliver agreed performance metrics in the areas of safety, quality, costs, customer service
• Enable the implementation of significant capital projects
• lead the site strategy / masterplan development
• participate in regional projects
