What’s the role about?

Providing accurate estimates and plans for the supply and fitting of John Lewis Kitchen and Bathroom products in customers’ homes. A customer facing role, you will focus on engaging with and inspiring our Customers with accurate and exciting plans, delivering a market leading customer experience. To add value to the efficient and profitable running of the operational area in order to achieve your business and personal objectives.

What will you be doing?

Using your sales, customer service skills and product knowledge you will be responsible for carrying out a quote and plan for Kitchens and Bathrooms, and converting the quote into a sale.

This role is very independent and although you are provided with your appointments, time management is key to ensure your day runs smoothly.

This is a customer-facing role that involves demonstrating your expertise to our customers and having a good knowledge of using computer aided design to produce kitchen plans and estimates. The role requires a high level of customer service as you will be visiting customer's properties to complete a full on-site survey for preparation and materials for a number of projects. You will be responsible for providing accurate error free work, demonstrating excellent communication skills and aim to gain an acceptance of the plans you produce from every customer. A customer facing role in which the Partner operates as a member of the Home Services Field team.  You will be motivated to achieve high levels of fitted kitchen and bathroom order acceptances and deliver sales targets and you will be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand, working in customers’ homes, bringing to life our values and delivering a consistently exemplary customer experience. 

The role requires a considerable amount of driving between the branch and customer homes. The use of a pool vehicle is provided for this purpose. 

This role is in South West  The area’s you will be working in are Cardiff and Cribbs Causeways (Bristol) area 

You will be required to complete training to ensure you are up to date with your product knowledge.

This role is subject to the following pre-employment screening: 3 year references. Basic disclosure. DVLA check.

• Proven sales experience

• Understanding of Fitted Kitchen and Bathroom products

• Experience using computer aided design software to produce plans
