What You Will Do

Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent is seeking a fourth Neurologist to join our established medical group in Kokomo, Indiana. Servicing a diverse patient population, this candidate will be working with a large referral base in a busy, but supportive practice. Find a reasonable work-life balance in a mid-size midwestern city close to the benefits of Indianapolis without all the stressors.

Preferred procedures: EMG, EEG interpretation

EMR in place

Procedures performed in office include: EMG, NCV, ONB, Botox, DBS, Baclofen maintenance, Trigger Point & Punch Biopsy

Combination of inpatient & outpatient responsibilities

Low physician turnover

Our physicians provide neurological services at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo, an Ascension St. Vincent hospital. Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is a 167-bed acute care facility serving the residents of Kokomo, IN, Howard County, and surrounding communities. Kokomo has a population of roughly 45,000 residents and is located 40 minutes north of Indianapolis. Our 150-person medical staff provides general medication, surgical and diagnostic services for inpatients and outpatients, as well as an array of other services and specialties. In a typical year, Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo will provide emergency care to 20,000 patrons, deliver 1,000 babies and perform 10,000 surgeries. The hospital has an annual volume of more than 6,000 discharges. In addition to acute care, Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is the largest provider of home care, hospice and home infusion services in the county.
